After two decades of work in fashion, the Nashville native has carved out a career as a successful TV host and correspondent for the E! Network, ABC Family, TV Guide Network and CMT, to name only a few. Alecia has justifiably earned her reputation as a knowledgeable, sincere and spirited personality. Real Music TV has turned the tables on Davis, as we hear about some of her stories and musical favorites.

Beth Nielsen Chapman started out in 1976 with the rock and pop group “Harmony” and has forged an expansive career, not only as a singer song-writer of her own material, but as a songwriter for numerous artists, including Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings and Bette Midler. What makes Chapman so special is her ability to write songs that reach into the place within us where vulnerability meets strength. With a career so rich in song-writing, we felt very privileged to hear about some of her favorite tracks of all time.

Not only has he been a member of Alison Krauss’s Union Station since 1994, Tyminski has released 3 solo albums and collaborated with the likes of Martina McBride, Brad Paisley and Dolly Parton. With so many strings to his bow, we were very pleased to have him with us to share some stories and influences!

After early success with the world-renowned hit, “Delta Dawn”(1972), Texas-born Tanya has gone on to become a Country veteran with a career spanning almost five decades. The momentum continues to build for Tanya after her 2019 Album ‘While I’m Livin’’ received two Grammy Awards (Best Country Album/Best Country Song). Such a rich career makes for a wonderful My Music session at Real Music TV, and we were delighted to have her!

Charles, “Chip” Esten is an actor, singer and improviser. The Pittsburgh-born polymath is best known for his role as Deacon Claybourne on ABC/CMT’s ‘Nashville’ (2012-2018), which has since allowed him to focus on his own song-writing career. The shadow of Deacon aside, we were very fortunate to have him with us for a My Music session, where we learned rather more about his own story.

Jillian Cardarelli has been performing since she was 4 years old. The All-American singer-songwriter took the top spot in Rolling Stone’s top 10 list of New Country Artists You Need to Know in 2018, and has gone on to tour alongside Lonestar, Jake Owen, Jana Kramer and Easton Corbin. With such an encouraging career so far, we were desperate to hear who inspired this Massachusetts native to shoot for the stars!

Indiana born singer-songwriter Canaan Smith moved to Nashville to pursue his country music career in 2009. Breaking out in 2014 with the hit single, ‘Love You Like That’, Smith has gone on to be the flagship artist signed under Florida Georgia Line’s new label, Round Here Records.
